What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), websites must tell you about the cookies they use and ask for your consent, unless a cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you've asked for.
Cookies we use
These cookies are only set when you sign in. They are strictly necessary, so they don't need your consent, but you should still know about them.
| Name | Purpose | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to your Lowtide dashboard securely | Strictly necessary, first-party | Until you sign out, or up to 400 days |
| sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier | Protects the email sign-in link from being used by anyone else | Strictly necessary, first-party | Until you finish signing in |
The “…” part is a fixed identifier for our database project. These cookies are set by our sign-in provider, Supabase, on our own domain.
What we don't use
- No analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics)
- No advertising, retargeting or social media tracking pixels
- No third-party embeds that set cookies
That's why you don't see a cookie banner: there's nothing to consent to. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookies, you'll still be able to browse the website and use the free accessibility scan, but you won't be able to sign in to the dashboard.
