Prove your records register is true
For regulated firms that must show records are kept, owned, retrievable and disposed of properly. Mooring checks, chases and certifies, then produces the evidence your auditors and regulator ask for.
No SharePoint or system integration needed. Import your Excel register and go.
How it works
From set-up to the first alert
- 01
Import
Drop in your Excel or CSV inventories. Mooring recognises the usual columns and lets you adjust the mapping.
- 02
Check
Nightly location checks set every record to Yes, No, Unverifiable or Not checked, with a reason.
- 03
Attest and test
Stewards confirm their records and run retrieval tests from a single email. Mooring chases them.
- 04
Report
A drill-down dashboard and an annual conformance report against four key controls.

What you get
Built for the job, nothing extra
Stewards confirm in minutes, no login
Each steward gets one email listing their records. They confirm or correct each one; corrections update the register and every answer is time-stamped evidence.
- Single-use links, no accounts
- Reminders and overdue escalation
- Corrected locations re-checked automatically
An annual report against four key controls
Inventory attestation, location conformance, retrieval testing and certified disposal, each with a result, target and status, ready for audit or your risk committee.
- Print or save as PDF
- Conformance by entity
- Regulatory records at risk listed
Certified disposal, legal holds respected
Records past retention are queued, checked against legal holds and approved. Each disposal gets a certificate that keeps the register entry.
- Retention from your schedule
- Legal holds block disposal
- Certificates survive record deletion
Who it's for
Made for the people who get the blame
“The annual conformance exercise is weeks of spreadsheets and chasing emails.”
- Attestations run themselves
- Live conformance by entity
- Evidence pack at the click of a button
