ARIA

A set of attributes that add accessibility information to web elements when plain HTML is not enough.

The first rule of ARIA is to use native HTML elements where you can. Wrong ARIA can make a page worse than none.

General information, not legal advice. Rules and dates change, so check the source before relying on them.
